Overview
The ThinkPad Removable Diskette Drive is an internal diskette drive designed to operate in the Ultrabay 2000 of the ThinkPad A21e (machine type 2655), the ThinkPad A30 and A30p (machine type 2652,2654 and 2653), the ThinkPad R30 (machine type 2656, and 2676), the ThinkPad R40 (machine type 2682), the ThinkPad T Series, and the ThinkPad Dock. This drive is supported as a bootable device and can be installed externally on the T Series, ThinkPad Dock, and ThinkPad Port Replicator using the optional ThinkPad T Series FDD External Cable Kit (27L0524). This option is supported in the Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows Me operating system environments.
